Dr. Kyle F. Hoskins practices family optometry at his state-of-the-art facility located at Ireland and Ironwood Roads in South Bend.  He is a 1994 graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry.  While attending Indiana University he participated in an ocular disease post-operative externship with the John-Kenyon Eye Center in Louisville, where he gained experience in the management of radial keratotomy and cataracts.  He also served as an associate instructor in diagnostic procedures at Indiana.

Dr. Hoskins is licensed by the state of Indiana in the practice of optometry and the use of therapeutic pharmaceuticals, and he is certified by the National Board of Optometric Examiners in the treatment and management of ocular disease.  As a graduate of the Baltimore Academy of Behavioral Optometry, Dr. Hoskins has received additional post-graduate training in binocular vision problems and vision -based learning problems.  He has been a member of the American Optometric Association and the Indiana Optometric Association since 1994, and served as president of the North Central Optometric Society in 2002 and 2003.  He has been a member of the College of Optometrists in Visual Development since 1998. 

Prior to optometry school, Dr. Hoskins was a 1986 graduate of Warsaw High School.  He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and Indiana University with a chemistry major.  In 1993 he was named captain of Indiana's Men's swim team, and in 1994 he received NCAA All-American honors while at SMU.  He also was a member of the Beta Theta Pi social fraternity. 

Dr. Hoskins resides in South Bend with his wife, Patti, and their three children.

Dr. Geoff Heddle

InVision Eyecare Center specializes in vision therapy, an individualized treatment program devoted to developing, improving and enhancing people’s visual performance. With the continued growth of the general practice as well as the vision therapy specialty, it became necessary to recruit help to meet our patient’s needs without compromising our attention to quality.  We have been fortunate to retain Dr. Geoff Heddle for our vision therapy department.   

Dr. Heddle brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the office.  He is a 1998 graduate of the Indiana School of Optometry and has completed over 300 hours of post-doctoral education in developmental optometry.  He specializes in pediatrics and visual development as well as sports vision.  His resume includes stints at prestigious vision clinics across the country as well as consulting with several professional sports teams.  

He currently resides in St. Joseph, Michigan.  He has a two year-old daughter, Molly.  He’s an accomplished triathlete and he coaches hockey in his spare time.  Dr. Heddle should prove to be huge asset to our vision therapy program.
